Linda Wright is a Gwich’in artist from Inuvik, Northwest Territories and comes from a family of artists. Expressing herself creatively since childhood, growing up in the north was her initial inspiration. Throughout her life, Wright has worked in and travelled to many communities in the Western Arctic and Sahtu regions, creating a true appreciation for the unique landscapes and cultures of the north.

Over the past seven years, Linda has presented her work in Edmonton, at various markets and exhibitions. Linda is a contemporary painter and member of the I AM Indigenous Artist Collective in Edmonton, AB.
