Anisha Phillips (she/her/hers) is a diversity, equity, and inclusion subject matter expert and leader, with experience scaling DEI efforts across organizations of all sizes and sectors. As a Lead Strategist and trainer with Canadian Equality Consulting, she leads numerous forms of educational training, creation of DEI strategies and programs, leadership advisory and coaching, and developing and maintaining DEI related analytics and insights.
Anisha has years of experience as a DEI consultant and subject matter expert, working with clients in the public and private sector to scale DEI across their organizations. In doing so, she has influenced clients to think critically, participate in unlearning, find collective objectives, and build systematic strategies for change.
Anisha has a BA(H) in Gender Studies from Queen’s University, and an MA in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Toronto. Before working in DEI, Anisha worked with several non-profits in community and program development.
Anisha is a mixed race South Asian woman who has origins in South Africa. From a young age she learned the importance of participating in unlearning and eliminating inequity. Anisha grew up in Kamloops BC (Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc territory) and now resides in present day Toronto.
