Narissa Jessa (She/Her/Hers)
Inclusion Specialist
Narissa Jessa (she/her), Inclusion Strategist at Inclusive Concepts Inc., is a passionate advocate for inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA). As a racialized, Muslim woman with an invisible disability and the child of immigrant parents, Narissa is driven to create environments where everyone belongs. She has dedicated several years to driving IDEA initiatives, developing and facilitating impactful training, and crafting comprehensive IDEA policies and strategies. Narissa builds bridges within organizations to advance IDEA initiatives. She has been instrumental in guiding them through their journey to create meaningful and sustainable change while bringing her own intersectional approach to the table.
Narissa finds it fundamentally important to give back and be involved in the community. She often finds herself volunteering for local communities and supporting locally owned businesses. As a lifelong learner, Narissa is committed to continuously learning new things and unlearning what she thinks she knows. Pushing boundaries and climbing new mountains is what she aspires to do every day.
She proudly recognizes and is grateful to live on Treaty 7 territory.
