Meet Your Host and MC
Inez is not the kind of host who stands at the front of the room and performs wellness at you.
She's the woman who built this day because she needed it, and couldn't find it anywhere.
Inez has 15+ years of experience designing events, workshops, and programs that people actually remember. The feedback is always the same: "I've never been to anything like this." That's not a coincidence. That's what happens when inclusion is the foundation, not a feature.
She's also a British-Canadian immigrant who rebuilt her career and business from scratch after moving to Canada at nearly 40. She navigated menopause without a roadmap. She was diagnosed with ADHD after six years in business. She lost her mother, suddenly, from across an ocean, carrying the particular weight that distance brings. She is a domestic violence survivor. She has lived with chronic pain and shown up anyway.
She doesn't talk about any of this from a textbook.
She talks about it because it's her story. And because every woman who walks through that door is carrying her own version of at least one of them.
That's why this day exists. And that's why the room will feel different from the moment you walk in.

The Venue
Join us at the Mickelson National Golf Course in Harmony, Alberta, a setting that does something to you the moment you arrive.
Nestled in a vibrant community at the edge of the Rockies, the venue sits surrounded by breathtaking mountain vistas, rolling foothills, and wide-open prairie skies. The kind of view that makes you exhale properly for the first time in weeks. The kind of space that reminds you there is a world beyond your inbox, your to-do list, and the noise of everyday life.
This is not a hotel conference room. This is not the city.
And for this one day, this venue is exclusively ours.
Mickelson National is sponsoring us and opening its doors privately with no public access. No distractions. Just 100+ women, a stunning setting, and a full day dedicated entirely to you.
This is a full day away, in nature, in beauty, in a room full of women who showed up for themselves. The setting is intentional. When you're surrounded by that much sky and that much mountain, something shifts. You arrive as whoever you've been managing to be lately. You leave a little more like yourself.

Morning Arrival
Doors open to a vendor showcase and light breakfast. Come early, wander the room, meet the women-owned businesses and wellness practitioners who'll be with us for the day, and settle in before we begin.
Opening Flame: Grounding & Intention Setting
Host Inez Ashworth welcomes the room and shares her own story — why Women, Truth & Fire exists and who it's for. Co-MC Leanne Gawley joins to open the day together (with her own keynote moment still to come later on). From there, we move straight into a grounding and healing session — breath, body, intention. This is where we arrive, not just physically but emotionally, and set the tone for everything that follows. We drop the performative masks at the front door.
Connection — Read Your River, Find Your Flow
An interactive session with Carlyn Neek using the Japanese Kawa Model to map your life like a winding river, reflect, and discover what truly matters. No experience needed — just curiosity, an open heart, and a willingness to connect with incredible women. ❤️
Panel — Real Talk, Real Laughs, Real Heart
A panel with Allison, Harj and Tiffany, moderated by Inez. It starts with how they met and connected — the humour, the unexpected similarities, the moment they realized they weren't alone in what they'd been carrying. From there, the conversation opens up to the room. This is your invitation into a safe space to hear that you're not the only one, and to ask the questions you've been sitting with: on entrepreneurship, burnout, resilience, identity, and everything that's been quietly holding you back.
Midday Break — Choose Your Reset
Lunch, with options for however you want to spend your break: a guided nature walk, small facilitated discussion circles, a drop-in stretch or yoga session, and vendor pop-ups offering complimentary tasters — think massage, coaching, and wellness tools.
Keynote — Shift Happens: How to Thrive Through Hard Times
The concept is simple: control what you can and let go of what you can't. But when life throws challenge your way, why does it feel so impossible to live by those words? Because you need to build these habits now, before things get hard. Claire Masikewich unpacks how to do exactly that.
Holistic Healing
Join Shana Ng for a conversation on holistic healing — integrating body, mind, and spirit to move through hard seasons and come home to yourself.
