Built For Her
Custom training, workshops, e-learning and employer tools for organizations that want to create real belonging for the women in their workforce.
What it is
You have made the commitment. Now comes the part that actually changes things.
Whether you are an energy company keeping the women you worked hard to recruit, a construction or trades employer building a crew women want to stay on, a college getting more women into trades, or an organization with a Women's ERG ready for real programming, the question is always the same: what do we actually build for them?
That is where I come in.
I work directly with your team to design and develop blended learning programs, online modules, micro-credentials, instructor-led workshops, employer toolkits and self-assessments, and the reinforcement tools that make learning stick. If you have already done the consultation or evaluation, I help you turn those findings into something people will actually use.
You own everything we build. Your people deliver it. And it is made by someone who has spent 20+ years doing this work because she has lived it.

Where I have done this work
Skilled trades
Partnered with a Calgary post-secondary institution on attracting and retaining women in the trades, including employer workshops, an employer survey and an e-learning module for apprentices.
Energy
Led inclusion work inside the energy sector, and delivered strategy, leadership training and a refreshed Respectful Workplace program for energy clients.
Industry and governance
Practical, scenario-based training for professional bodies, boards and non-profits.
How I work
I meet organizations where they are. In industries where "DEI" makes people's shoulders go up, we talk about belonging, safety, retention and performance, because that is what it is really about. Practical, plain-language and built for the shop floor as much as the boardroom.

Attracting & Retaining Women in Skilled Trades
Custom programming, employer workshops, and apprentice modules built to foster true belonging on worksites.

On-Site Workgroups & Retention Toolkits
Practical, scenario-based learning and employer toolkits designed specifically for trades, construction, and technical crews.

What we can build together
Depending on your scope, a Built For Her engagement can include:
- Discovery and co-development with your internal subject matter experts, including turning existing evaluation or consultation findings into a practical plan
- Blended learning programs combining online modules, live sessions and sustainment tools
- SCORM-packaged e-learning ready for your LMS (Articulate, Absorb-compatible)
- Micro-credentials and learning pathways people can complete and be recognized for
- Workshops, virtual or in-person, for industries recruiting and retaining women in non-traditional roles
- Gender intelligence and conscious unbiasing training for client-facing and leadership teams
- Women's ERG programming and curriculum
- Employer toolkits and self-assessments that help organizations see where they are and what to do next
- Facilitator guides, workbooks and communication materials, including campaign content
- Leader and coach reinforcement tools so the learning sticks after the session
- Train-the-trainer handoff so your internal team can deliver and scale independently
- Ongoing support for updates, refreshes and impact measurement
You own everything we build. Your people deliver it.
Sustainable culture change, without being locked into a vendor licence forever.
This is for you if
You are in energy, trades, construction, engineering or tech, or you are a non-profit or industry association supporting women in those sectors, and you are serious about the women you serve and the women on your team.
You want something custom and sustainable, not a vendor-dependent licence. You have made a public commitment to gender equity, and you need the content to match it.
Let's talk.
Every engagement starts with a discovery conversation. No pitch deck, no pressure, just a real conversation about what your people need and what we can build together.
